Recess Duty is a PTL program that relieves a teacher from recess duty during lunch. Two adults (either two teachers or one teacher and a volunteer) supervise the lower grade and upper grade recesses, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. daily. Volunteer ministers act as another set of eyes in supervising the children, while also building relationships with them and with their teachers. The volunteer schedule is set up one month ahead; volunteers may also elect to be on a call list to fill in openings as needed. Contact Tracy McCaughn for more information.
