The Campbell’s Labels For Education program provides funding for Immanuel Lutheran School to continue Christian education for children. Campbell's product UPCs are collected in the Soup Can container in the hallway near the School Library and in each school classroom. The ministry leader submits the UPCs, which are credited as points to the Immanuel account.
School faculty then select items from a catalog to be purchased with points. The catalog includes sports equipment, computer software, art supplies, and other tools for the classroom.
Ministers may help with various tasks including: publicizing the program, collecting, sorting, counting, and submitting labels, holding classroom contests, setting up the ice cream party (class prize), working with the principal on catalog selections, or obtaining bonus points (i.e. writing up examples of school service projects which qualify for bonus points).
